Happy Birthday Jackson
Jackson Kendell,
On June 14th, 2010, you graced this world and made it a better place.
You are such a sweet, curious and very happy baby. Right now, you are still trying figure out the walking thing. I don't think you are in any hurry much like your brother. You get around just fine crawling or holding on to something.
You have 6 little chompers behind that contagious smile that have caused a nice bruise on Mommy and your first discipline report at school.
You are completely smitten with your big brother. He adores you too when you are not trying to tackle him or take away whatever he is playing with. Austin can make you smile just by walking in the room.
You are already a "Momma's boy" and I am not complaining!! I will hold and squeeze you as long as you will let me.
You are definitely going to be our daredevil. Unlike Austin, you want to climb everything, jump out of our arms in a second, open every cabinet and put EVERYTHING in your mouth. Your toddler years are going to keep us on our toes!
Your first birthday was super cute and super hot!!! One day you will see all of the awesomeness that went into celebrating your first year.
Thank you for all of the joy that you have brought this family. You are nothing short of amazing and I love you more than words can say. Happy first birthday!

End of School & Start of Summer
End of School ~ Austin graduated preschool! I can't believe that he will start kindergarten in the fall. It makes me so sad but happy for him because he is so excited.
Yes, I must talk to his school about the terrible felt graduation caps.
I made these graduation cap cookies for his class. Funny thing is that the younger kids who performed at his graduation were dismissed first and they ate all the cookies!!!! Austin's class never saw them. Punks. ;)
Start of Summer ~ We spent Memorial Day weekend in the pool. We started off at Granny and Papa's house with all of the fam.
My sweet nephew, Connor.
Granny and Jackson
The next day, we headed to Grandpa and Tattie's for more pool fun.
Grandpa and Tattie got Jack his first walking/riding toy. He is so close to walking as he approaches his first birthday so this is going to help out.
This kiddo loves the water.
We also discovered that he LOVES watermelon.
Aus and Braxton
It's going to be a great summer!

Egg-celent Easter ~ Part II
I left off with the second day of our trip and the start of our egg hunt. The kids were so cute. The filled their buckets fast then had to empty and reload.
Killian wore this awesome hat long enough for met to get some awesome pics of him in it.
Awesome, right?
After the egg hunt, the kids had fun with the slip 'n slide.
We even got to see real-life cowboys! ;)
This short vacation was amazing to me not only because I got to see the fam but because for two days, I did not look at my phone or my crackberry.
I'd never been to Midland ("Oil Country") before. Every where you look, you either see an oil pump (We call 'em grasshoppers where I'm from) or these giant windmills. It found it so interesting.
On Waylon's tour of Big Spring, he snapped some pics of the prairie dogs from the highway. Seriously, you can see these cute things from your car as you are driving down the road.
And more of the scenery from my grandma's back porch...
Day three was the departure. We snapped a few pics outside our hotel that had a cool indoor pool. The boys enjoyed that also.
Lendi, her beau Dusty and my sweet nephew Jake.

The whole gang.
I loved everything about this Easter. Thank you Mom!
