The final days of the countdown brought Austin some things for our Easter trip vacation.
Since we were going on an airplane, I picked up an Easter activity book for him to have something to do. I knew that we would have an indoor pool at the hotel so I got him a new pair of goggles and a frisbee to play with.
The egg for day number one did not contain a toy or candy; it was the "Easter talk" about what Easter is really about. We had a discussion to remind him about Jesus dying and rising for our sins. Austin asked if we could say a prayer that Jesus never has to do that again.
